Tonight's elimination started with Jessica and Elise. Ryan said a few words about each contestant and showed us their journey through American Idol. Wow! What an elimination night. The outcome of the night was shocking to everyone. American Idol started tonight with Ryan Seacrest stating that he would like to let Dick Clarks family know that they are in America’s thoughts and prayers. Dick Clark has died at the age of 82.
