There are only four contestants left. Soon another season will be over. The host of the show, Ryan Seacrest said tonight that everyone in the audience tonight will receive a ticket to a show in the summer tour. I can’t wait for tonight’s show to be over. This is the cut that every Idol wants to survive. It is because this is the one that has the hometown hero visit.
The Idols started off with singing the Mama’s and Papa’s, California Dreaming. They then showed the Ford music video that they made together on set. The first person they did a performance review on was Phillip Phillips. Then up for review was Hollie.
Season seven’s Idol winner, David Cooke sang his new hit single, “The Last Song I Write for You.” Joshua Ledet had his review next. Jessica Sanchez had the best comments during her review. I really do not know who will be going home tonight. All four of these contestants could win this year. I would also say that I would like to see the remaining contestants in concert.
Jennifer Lopez did an amazing performance after the commercial break. She performed “Dance Again.” I have not seen a lot of Jennifer Lopez’s performances but she nailed this one. I see what she has been talking about all season about being believable. It was awesome.
The first person safe tonight and heading back to her hometown for a visit is Jessica Sanchez. Joshua Ledet will also be returning home in a private jet for the hometown visit. The last person that is safe tonight and going on the jet home is Phillip Phillips. That means that Hollie Cavanagh will sing her last song tonight for American Idol. Hollie sang “The Climb,” by Miley Cyrus. Now there are three Idol’s left and the next episode will decide which two Idols will be competing in the finale for the title, American Idol 2012.
