Judges Use Their Save

All idols opened with a song they performed together called “Raise your glass,” by P!NK.
Colton got an invitation to a prom from a fan. Hollie and Jessica Sanchez were called up first to find out who will be in the bottom 3. Ryan Seacrest asked Hollie to stand on one side of the stage and Jessica stand on the other.
Season 10’s James Durbin performed tonight. James Durbin has sold over 100,000 records already and he is on tour. In fact the tour starts tonight. He is very successful already. To remind you which Idol contestant he was on season 10, he was the one with Tourette’s syndrome. The fact that he has done so well even with Tourettes, should be encouraging to people with similar diseases.
Elise Testone and Phillip Phillip went next. Phillip was asked to stand by Hollie, and Elise was asked to go to Jessica’s side of the stage. Jennifer Hudson and Neo performed “Think like a man.”
Colton and Joshua are now up. Colton was asked to join the group with Phillip and Hollie. Joshua was asked to stand by the group with Jessica and Elise. This was a little confusing to me because I thought Colton and Jessica did the best last night.
Finally, Skylar came out last. Ryan Seacrest told Skylar she was safe. He told Skylar to stand by Colton, Phillip, and Hollie. That meant that they were all safe and this week’s bottom 3 are Jessica, Joshua, and Elise. Ryan Seacrest announced that Elise would be joining the safe group. Ryan then told Jessica that she had the lowest votes this week and that she was at risk for leaving the show.
Unfortunately, I kind of think that she was in the bottom 3 due to people not voting as much for her because they think she will have plenty of votes anyway. America, this is no time to vote for the underdog. This show is about finding the best of the best. Please vote for the best performers.
After Jessica began to sing her last song on Idol, all the judges went up on stage to join her. They told her that she didn’t have to sing because they would be using their save on her. Each year the judges have one save that they can use on a contestant. She will be joining the other contestant’s again next episode.
